General Information: Overview: Who We Are: Lucy Kikko Pacelli

Kikko began her spiritual journey when she was suffering excruciating discomfort with a serious illness. At that time she was taught meditation by Dr. Lawrence Edwards.ÊÊ Through his training, she learned various methods of using meditation to control the mind and physical pain of illness. She continued her studies with Denko John Mortenson, (who received dharma transmission from Eido Roshi in 2002), Vice Abbott of Dai Bosatsu Zendo .. She is a retired account executive with 2 pre-teen children who lives in the suburbs of New York . Kikko came to Zen Peacemakers in June of 2006 for a retreat and has been returning frequently since offering her skills and services . She has made a vow of helping others with their suffering, in whatever form, whenever she can.
